Sizewise, while not as big as the current swell I expect plenty of chest-head high surf showing at the average SSW-SW facing spots by Sept 4-5, standouts will have a few head high+ sets. This will gradually change to a more S-SSW swell (190-210) mix that will keep the chest-head high surf showing at the average spots with more consistent overhead sets at the standouts as we move into September 6-9…and if those last few storms have anything to say about it we could even see more fun/rideable swell pushing in a few days after that. Keep your fingers crossed…if everything stays on track we may see one of better starts to the fall season than we have seen in a while.
