Sizzix gurus. Can you help me before my sizzix learns to fly? I bought the big shot for a Christmas gift for myself and along with it a variety of dies. I have no problem with the thinlits that just look like a metal frame of the big block looking ones. Its those gray ones that has me spitting an cussing. I followed the instructions. Ive tried a variety of papers from thin to thick. Ive even put a piece of thin foam sheet under it to give it a bit more height. These gray things just do not cut through. Am I supposed to have to go and then cut along the lines with scissors? I bought the flourishes that dont work and so I tried the snowflake that came with the tree that came with the sizzix and it STILL doesnt cut through. Oh and Ive tried every paper etc with the dies up or the die down and I still get sh*tty results. Im starting to think that I wasted my money. I dont need a thing to add to my aggrivation.
