Skerrett Family baby reveal. My version of the Night Before - TopicsExpress

Skerrett Family baby reveal. My version of the Night Before Christmas is as follows: ‘Twas the night before Christmas, about one year from now A Mommy and Daddy were having a cow. The dishes were piled by the sink so high They were sure that St Nicholas would see them from the sky. The laundry was scattered in baskets aplenty, It was long forgotten what they looked like empty. The floor was covered with crumbs here and there, And there was something sticky hiding under a chair. A litter of toys were all strewn about, And the living room couch had stuffed animals throughout. Spaghetti sauce on the walls was looking quite dire, But would just have to wait as time was running down to the wire. The cookies were out, the glass of milk filled to the brim, But Mommy and Daddy were still looking quite grim. There were still presents to wrap and stockings to fill, Getting it done in time would take quite some skill. With the clock winding down, they cut and they taped, And by the time they finished, it was really quite late. They cleaned up the mess, their feet felt like lead, They turned down the lights and headed for bed. But before they decided to crash for the night, They wanted to check on the little ones sleeping tight. All nestled in bed tucked safe and sound, Were the best Christmas gifts that could ever be found. Two little babies as beautiful as can be, Sleeping soundly away, their dreams filled with glee. Their features in repose each like looking in a mirror, Their closeness in every way couldn’t be clearer. Though Mommy and Daddy had hoped for just one, God had laughed and decided that wouldn’t be fun. With the odds of it happening the size of holes made by pins, These parents had found out that they were having twins! And though this Christmas story takes place in the future, The origins of this scenario couldn’t be truer. So please be excited and try not to cry, Jeremy and Tiffany’s bundles are due in July!
