Skibbereen and District Historical Societys first trip of the season will be on Sunday, 25th May. The tour will depart Baltimore Pier at 11am and will sail around the Fastnet Rock and onwards to Cape Clear Island. The group will be met by Dr Éamon Lankford who will bring the group around the Cape Clear Museum. Lunch follows afterwards in the restaurant near the harbour. The ferry will leave Cape Clear at 4.30pm. The overall cost is 30euro, of which 20euro is for the trip and 10euro for lunch(if required). Booking through Brendan McCarthy on 28 21094 or 0862166860. Bookings need to be made before the 16th of May to facilitate ferry and lunch bookings. This trip is a fundraiser for Skibbereen Historical Society.
