Skin peel, also known as chemical peel, involves the application - TopicsExpress

Skin peel, also known as chemical peel, involves the application of one or more layers of acid to the face or other body parts which needs to be treated. The acids are specially selected to target the depths of the skin and the skin problems which the aesthetic doctor wishes to treat. Commonly used acids include glycolic acid, salicylic acid and trichloroacetic acid (TCA). Gycolic acid is useful for more superficial peels which gives lesser downtime. Salicylic acid is useful for those with active acne. Trichloroacetic acid or TCA can be used for medium and deeper peels. The peels are left on the skin for a very short amount of time, until the visual end point can be seen. The aesthetic doctor would know how long the peel should be left on until it is to be neutralized or washed away. Skin peels can be used for reducing pigmentation, acne scar, fine lines and fine wrinkles. It can also help to reduce pore size and active acne. Each procedure takes about 5 minutes to do. The peels should be performed by experienced aesthetic doctors or skin specialists. Skin peels can be performed once a month. In between peels, the client is advised to avoid direct sun exposure by wearing a cap, hat, using an umbrella and applying a sunscreen of SPF 30 and above. Several sessions would be necessary to give the optimal results. More info is on premier-clinic/site/skin-peel/ Our phone number is 03-77325552.
