Skulls and Bones exhibit, a real head scratcher By Emily - TopicsExpress

Skulls and Bones exhibit, a real head scratcher By Emily Wood Kids dug into the Skulls exhibit at the Innisfil Public Library last week, identifying real skulls and fossils in the travelling exhibit from the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Cat, rabbit, pigeon, frog and turtle skulls were part of the exhibit, as well as a shark jaw and several different fossils of clams, coral, fern leaves and snails. Kids could see and touch these fossils and put their detective skills to work with the activity included. A case book for each skull contained riddles and clues to work through and kept kids guessing as they tried to identify what animal each skull belonged to. Staff at the Stroud Branch hosted the exhibit last Tuesday and said lots of kids stopped by during the day to check it out.
