Skye, my love, it is my Birthday, The saddest and the most heartfelt one i have ever had, not because i am getting older, not because i am alone writing you now. I am so sad knowing i will not receive your voice saying happy birthday daddy with the gift of a original song or thoughtful drawing. This last week feels like a year as the knowledge you are teaching me stops time. i miss you so so much. The sadness moments ago seemed unbearable, then I thought of you the you right now, your everlasting Spirit that is in your family, in your friends and in me, I think of The love surrounding all of us who had the honor and privilege to know you through my work or the lucky ones who you called friends, those you met for a moment and those who shared in your Hard at times but amazing life, my tears are disappearing into my pillow right now and i have a smile on my face knowing I have the greatest gift of all, the gift you gave me when you decided me for your daddy. the gift of 19 years of a heartbeat my little fighter, you are the lion, i will continue your Roar reflecting the passion that drives your soul through many adding to theirs a bright light.
