Skylar told me the other day that she no longer wanted to trick or treat? Curious as to what shed say, I asked her why she felt that way. Mom, theres nothing about Halloween that is godly to me. Its about evil stuff and getting too much candy, and its done at night. Such a great observation, but Preston said to her, Skylar, that doesnt mean we have to be a part of the evil stuff, but use the time to do good things for God. That has sparked an idea for me this year. We will hand out candy, but along with it, well have things to witness, such as these cards (we have one pair somewhere), gospel tracks, and whatever I may find to help us reach out and share the good news! Im excited about this! My children inspire ME sometimes!!! If youre a believer, consider this as an option of taking advantage of the times we have... time is of the essence!
