Forget 12 years, Django, Amistad etc.. ***Do not reveal the movie title, I insist*** All the recent events in the US regarding disproprotinate killings of Blacks by White cops who go on unpunished by the Law, is making many (ok mainly non-Blacks) ppl ask me the roots of such social issues they never suspected were that serious... Mainly to understand White Supremacy, White privilege & Black history particularly Slavery, Y & how. U cant solve an issue w/o going to its roots. ***Plz do not reveal the title of this movie as most are not yet ready for its brutality nor would understand all it refers & applies to today... Yet despite the racism & physical humiliations, births of scientific racism & eugenism & exploitations as beasts & more, it matters to never forget Black History didnt start w Slavery/Colonization... There is much glory. Pay attention to actions & words*** P.S. All Blacks in this 13 mins fr that movie are Haitians, forced to appear in it under the Duvallier regime of early 70s.
