[ Slavery began a long time ago. Joseph was a child of unity. He was given the coat of many colors. but his brothers hated him so much they sold him into bondage. I weeped much in this chapter because of the sadness I felt, and how it relates today. Hate brought in lies vanity, pride, anger. I suspect this is why the Yahweh/yeshua crowd has taken Joseph out off the 144,000 tribe and replaced it with Ephraims tribe . But as we read more into this situation, the family of Israel was united again. Genesis 45 KJV CE 4And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Anyways, every step we make has an outcome, be it good or bad. We are not GOD, so we can not predict our earthly walk, but rest assure GOD knows. However from the promise of JESUSs death and resurrection, the Holy Ghost comforts us who believe in JESUS and by His way we know the truth to Salvation and life everafter in His Kingdome. And his brethren were content. 28Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. 29And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes. 30And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go? 31And they took Josephs coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; 32And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy sons coat or no. 33And he knew it, and said, It is my sons coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces. 34And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days. 35And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him. 36And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaohs, and captain of the guard.
