Recall Issue Sleep Secrets is recalling a number of their Memory Foam Mattresses because they may not conform to UK fire regulations. In the event that the mattress is exposed to a naked flame or intense heat source, there is an increased risk of the mattress catching fire, and it is possible that it will not self-extinguish. In a statement Sleep Secrets say Our mattresses are all supplied from China with a UK fire safety test certificate that is issued locally by one of a number of UK-approved manufacturer or independent testing laboratories in China. However, recent tests carried out for the BBC have highlighted that there may be issues concerning compliance with UK test requirements. Sleep Secrets Memory Foam Mattresses Affected By This Recall The Sleep Secrets Memory Foam Mattresses affected by this recall will have one of the following batch numbers:- Affected Batch Numbers 6554, 6560, 6564, 6574, 6582, 6590, 6600, 6649, 6656, 6666, 6672, 6702, 6703, 6718, 6747, 6799, 6852, 6854, 6855, 7032, 7038, 7046, 7077, 7103, 7116, 7153, 7159 The batch numbers can be found on the silk care/warning labels found on the underneath of the mattress at the head end in the centre, as shown below.
