Slege Lee Wins International End Of The Weak World Rap Challenge Posted on October 26, 2014 by Segawa Salim in Entertainment News, Events, Trending The international End Of The Weak world finals for the first time in history were hosted in Uganda and Africa in general yesterday at Open House, Buganda Rd. End Of The Weak is a hip-hop movement that give MCs a platform to express their wits on the mic. End of the Weak international hip-hop festival was kick-started by several freestyle and performances from Lyrical G, Rwanda’s Angel Mutoni, Pirate, Jollyjay and H20 from Germany, and Uganda’s Fasie. Ruyonga and Mazzo SoulPurpose were the hosted of the night that MC’d the whole rounds of the rap battle among Slege Lee(South Africa), Monk-E(Canada),jay Sentino(Uganda),Cheeko(France), and Gavino(Germany). Dj Snuff, DJ Proceed and DJ Sonar provided their best skills behind the decks. The six competing MCs expressed their skill and talent through several rounds to express their best to please the judges. After four rounds of energetic, lyrical and artistic rap battles, it was the time to crown the judges. While waiting for the winner to be crowned, Keko, Atlas, Amy True, St Nelly-Sade put up exuberant performances that added value such a hip-hop event. At around a half past midnight, the winner of the International End of The Weak World final was crowned; Sledge Lee’s lyrical maturity, creativity and flow garnered him on swim over his competition to be crown the winner. Intinkana from New-York and Jay Sentino claimed the second and third spot respectively. The 30 years old South African MC said “This is insane. So far, this is the zenith achievement of my rap career. My family believed in me, My Friends believed in me, South Africa believed in me; that’s why I’m here. I have made them proud.” The international End of The Weak World festival was organised by Burney MC and St Nelly Sade together with other sponsors which we were proud to be part of.
