Slightly less glittering performance today. Completed 30km out of 45km. :( Still feel pleased overall though - weary and bum-sore but a first! Two small falls - no energy for obstacles - no serious damage tho. The straw came when Elaine De Gersigny (doing the 25km) caught up w me where the track split off in sight of the finish. Facing another 1h30min on my own wasnt at all appealing! Esp that I was the tail-end charlie the whole way. Haha. Next time. Training, training, training to be done! Heaps of valuable lessons learned.
