Slots Ive been out and about delivering dozens of community newsletters and I want to grumble about three kinds of letter-box: a] the ones with a lethal dog just behind them. Im out in my own time, giving you something free and useful. Im not a burglar, especially not when youre in and awake. b] the ones down at the base of the door by my ankles. Im not a limbo dancer or a gymnast but a pensioner with stiff knees. c] the ones that close on your fingers like a steel trap. You need one hand to hold the tense spring open, one hand to post the newsletter and one hand to hold the bag with the other newsletters in, but Ive only got two hands. Thank you for listening. Now to complain about Radio 4....
