The Professional Internship Program grants fully funded 6-12 month full-time internships and a generous scholarship of up to $30,000 USD for 12 months at prominent American companies and organizations to the most accomplished young talent from Slovakia. Host Organizations are highly reputable American corporations and organizations, such as Kurt Salmon, AON, American Airlines, and SAP Labs. Placements are individually tailored and Host Organizations are secured after acceptance into the program. Successful applicants must have clear career goals and demonstrate willingness to support Slovakia’s development. Application deadline: October 20, 2013, decisions by December 15, 2013, departures to the U.S.: April-June 2014. The Research Scholar Program, endowed by U.S. Treasury Funds, provides significant funding to distinguished mid-level and senior-level Slovak professionals in business, public administration, non-profit organizations and academia enabling them to pursue individual independently organized projects in the United States. Applicants must secure official letter of invitation from U.S. partner Host Organization before applying. Application deadline: October 15, 2013, decisions by December 15, 2013, departures to the U.S.: April-June 2014.
