Slow down and look. This past weekend I was conducting somewhat involved outdoor wedding rehearsal complete with animal, and options depending on weather. A plethera of ladies were gathered prepareing to practice the procession for the first time. As many voices were talking, I looked down into the eyes of two little floweregirls. I could see the fear in their eyes. I slowing got down low so we could see eye to eye and slowly explained to them how they were going to lead this procession. I saw the fearin those eyes turn into confidence with a smile. And on the wedding day ... they were awesome. And I think I made a couple of new friends. Slow down and look into a new set of eyes. Who knows who you will find.
