Slow introductions are a great thing! So many of our fosters have never been socialized with other dogs and so a slow introduction is what is required and then everyone is best buddies! They just feel overwhelmed with a new place, new dogs and so they might not hit it off at first. The best thing to do is not subject them to all that, but to play musical dogs for a couple days. Let them get used to you...Let them get used to seeing and smelling each other through a door or baby gate. Some you can tell will be perfectly fine in a day or two or in Wallys case we needed about a week before he bringing them together in the same room.
