Small and moderate business will be lucky to survive this presidency, and even most big industries have suffered as well. America is at a 37.4% national unemployment rate for a reason. Employers are scared to say the least, between dealing with the recession and trying to sort out the associated cost of Obama Care. If they are stressed over how they are going to afford the employees they HAVE, certainly raising the minimum wage for their unskilled labor is NOT going to solve the problem either. The answer is not to raise minimum wage, but to motivate people to do things to improve their income level, not just to give it to them. Ugh, this administration cant be over quick enough, although the thought of who might be next ifs scary, ANYTHING is pretty much an improvement over this.
