Small blessings at HCSPCA. On July 28th Tia and I made a trip to Kerr County Animal control to rescue a couple of dogs. When we were leaving Tia spotted this extremely pregnant little white Poodle (14-16 lbs) in one of their quarantine kennels....and well, we just couldnt leave her at the pound, so we took her back to HCSPCA. Less then one week later, on August 1st Porscha delivered 3 male poodle mix puppies. Everyone is doing well, and Porscha could not be a better Mom! Puppies will be available for viewing on September 13th and we will accept applications on 9/13 as well....but these puppies will not be able to leave HCSPCA until September 19th (when they are 7 weeks old or until they have been successful weened from their mom). Mom (Porscha) will be available to adopt around the same time depending on when we can get her spayed. (Puppies will only be adopted out to Kerr County and Gillespie County residents due to sterilization contract). Please note, these puppies are not vaccinated and to protect them from unwanted illnesses, we will not allow visitation prior to September 13th. Names of puppies are: Darkest puppy is Benz; Medium colored puppy is Jag; and the lightest puppy is Beemer.
