Small girl with a heavy burden. This picture came in the mail today (on the front of a card) from a friend. It made me cry because it represents so perfectly what I feel Elaynas challenges are for her. Such a massive weight to hold, and yet hold it she does. She bears her extra burden with sweetness and grace that I could not imagine being able to muster up if in her shoes. Im so proud of my strong girl. Once she beats cancer she will know she can do anything. (Thanks, Amy. This card was just waiting for us.)
