Small house living seems to continue to grow in popularity. My husband has built a couple of tiny houses for folks looking to live this lifestyle, and I loved them. I have also always been fascinated by folks who moved their families into RVs to hit the road. My teen had a friend over this weekend (17 yrs old) who had moved from a very large house (over 5k square feet) to a much smaller townhouse in the last few years. I asked what his perspective was as a kid in a household that downsized. His response was that he liked the townhouse and it had not had a negative impact on his quality of life at all. I thought that was interesting coming from a teens perspective. What about you, do you like the idea of smaller living spaces so you see each other more, or something more spacious where you all have ample space of your own?
