Small study with big ramifications if it turns out to be true. Ob-Gyn docs are only concerned with the immediate health of the baby. The risks they weigh only take into account immediate risks or the potential for life long problems from lack of taking action because they can be sued. So how do we factor into the risk benefit equation issue such as changing a babys gut bacteria or the greater chance that cesarean baby wont be breast fed? Both of these have potential to impact a persons life long health.
