Small update on Justin. He is participating in an Animal Science class (which fulfills credit requirements for a vocational course). He gets to work and care for the horses, even learning shoeing techniques and trimming from an onsite farrier! Im sure they also have other animals there which need care. He has a great compassion for animals so this should be a good experience for him. He is also enrolled in online classes for English, Algebra and Geography and is plugging along with those. He even volunteered for kitchen duty for his work crew job. They say he is adjusting well and fitting in. He hasnt given them any troubles (otherwise I know Id get a call!) and for that I am thankful. They do attend daily devotional sessions and church on weekends so there is opportunity for a spiritual connection and eventual growth there as well. Again, I am encouraged that he is in the right place and his life will be turned around so others can see what an amazing kid he really is! Justin Waffle Taco.
