Smart Weight Management Is Possible! Weight loss since September 8, 2014: -73lb. Height: 59, Present weight 157lb. Goal weight 150lb. Current BMI: 23. Taken off blood pressure meds over two months ago. Current Health Status: Excellent. Average Blood Pressure: 118/78. Resting Pulse Rate: 45. Activity level: High energy, training for the Hustle Up the Hancock on February 22, and triathlons scheduled for January 31, February 28, and March 21. Its so sad to read about the mental abuse to the participants associated with the TV reality show The Biggest Loser. Good weight management is all about education, knowledge, and attitude with a positive support network. Over 85% of the people who lose substantial amounts of weight gain a lot of it back if they dont have these going for them. The human body is a miraculous piece of work. Fat is actually stored energy and the key to smart weight loss is to tap into that energy source, also known as ketosis or fat burn. It really saddens me to see so many people killing themselves in gyms with little or no results to show for their efforts when the real issue is proper food intake at the right time and knowledge how their own body works.
