Smile Sweet Pea! We welcome Sweet Pea (fka Chrissy from CACC Transfer Team)to the DBMB family with open arms! From this day forward she will only know love and comfort! She is the perfect example of why not to judge a book by its cover. We owe it to all dogs to see them for who they really are, free of prejudice, stereotypes, and assumptions that are based on a known pedigree, a breed label guess, physical appearance, or their past history. Sweet Pea was found as a stray on Christmas day with bite marks all over her head and front legs and was brought to CACC. You can’t even pet her without feeling scabs all over her. Her legs are what took the brunt of it and are still swollen. She also has a broken canine and a few other broken teeth. See pictures. Whatever this little girl’s history is, she holds no grudges towards dogs or people. She has the sweetest, most gentle soul. She is full of tail wags and love. She found her smile tonight and we are committed 100% to make sure she never loses it! Welcome to our family Sweet Pea!
