Smile laugh, have a good day. Brian and Michele live in Roseburg, Oregon and were packing for their first trip in two years. They were going to Portland for the weekend and were going to leave Tom their cat and Harry their Parakeet alone for the first time. Harry was throwing a fit while they were making trips to the car. Michelle says “Brian, she knows were going somewhere.” They leave them enough food and go. As soon as the car pulls out Tom gets on the couch and launches himself thru the air and hits the cage. It swings back and forth but does not fall. Tom gets on the back of the sofa and jumps again rocking the cage but it was still hanging. Tom jumps onto a chair and then onto the snack bar counter. He stares at Harry and leaps again knocking the cage to the ground and the door swings open. Harry takes off flying and for the next hour Harry is trying to avoid being supper for Tom. Tom is catapulting himself off chairs, sofas, beds trying to catch Harry. No luck. Harry fly’s into the bathroom and sees a small hole in the screen. He flies into the screen numerous times making it larger all the time. Meanwhile Tom is jumping at him from the toilet, counter and tub with no success. Finally the hole is large enough for Harry to get out. Harry flies by instinct, luck or Gods will and finds the car about dark in a Red Lion parking lot. He circles the car a few times and notices the window is down a little bit. He fly’s in and lands under the back window. He goes to sleep. In the morning Brian and Michelle get in the car and Harry fly’s between them and lands on the dash. Michelle looks at Brian and says” how”.
