Smile update #1382. Dedicated to John Durham, Sharon Kuley Casco, and others I helped get hired. (Cant sleep) Tonight is an anniversary of sorts, not the exact date. 26 years ago was my first night of working at Walnut Hills at the University of Dayton. Long night. In Ohio, bars had to close at 2 am. Well, when Daylight Savings time hits, 2 am becomes 1 am, and the owner, Jimmy said,Hey now its only one, we are sill open for another hour! I was exhausted. Facepalmed and continued on for an extra hour. Never got paid for that. Fun memories, though. Great friends, great people to work with. We did some crazy things. Wonderful memories. Nothing like putting Mason on top of a pool table to sleep, so he was out of my way, just to clean the bar, or deciding to take your two coctail waitresses to Florida after work. Oh, the fun we had. So much more. Found out Walnut Hills is no more, so I salute you and the fun. Give a Smile away EVERYDAY, and as always, CARRY ON!
