#SmirnoffIceBucketChallenge. Erik Carboni and I have decided to put our own spin on the #icebucketchallenge, why waste the water right? I will say that awareness is great, but donating money to any charity or medical organization will create the best chance for those affected with major illness. In honor of the spirit of the challenge I have chosen to donate to the ALS Association, as well as two other organizations close to me, the American Lung Cancer Association, an organization my fraternity members and I volunteered for during college in addition to the American Parkinson Disease Association, the latter two of which my family has been personally affect by. Ill close with saying, its important to remember why youre participating in this online trend, rather than simply just doing it and posting a video. Yazoo and I have obviously chosen to make it a little fun, but its important to not get swept into a fad without doing your part. Lastly. I nominate my immediate fraternal family Bill Tavares.
