Smithville is wet, wet, wet! Today I will represent Green Green Crafts of Home at the craft/antique show in Brocton, IL. Well be selling our wares from noon till 5 p.m. today and from 8:30 till 3 p.m. tomorrow. The trailer is full and there is this list of things for me to do and to take in front of me. Went it comes down to crunch time a list is invaluable. I keep telling myself, Slow down, take it easy, be methodical, make every move count. At least its always proven to be successful for me. Im sure I could work a sermon around that advice as well concerning our relationship with the Lord. For us to be successful servants of His and to get done what He has planned for us to do, it would no doubt prove itself useful if we actually sat down, took out a piece of paper and planned just exactly what we need to do each day. Its embarrassing to get to the place to sell your wares and find you forgot something; there are always other vendors there ready to lend you just about anything you might need, but if youre like me, you just hate to ask. Folks, what we have to do for the Lord is just be ourselves and to serve Him the best we can. Johnny Cash said it in a song when he sang for nobody else can walk it for you; you got to walk it by yourself. One day well each one have to give an account of what we did for the Lord; I sure hope none of us has forgotten anything on the list! Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul; each though and each motive beneath His control; thus led by His Spirit to fountains of love, thou soon shalt be fitted for service above. I would love to be able to add sunshine and warmth to my list but Im sure the Lord is working on His own list as well and Ill just leave those items up to Him. Have a blessed day!
