Snapped these awesome photos yesterday on my walk to Oakland, just after resigning my position at CHP. Nice omen, if you are into that sort of thing. I need to be home to care for a family member who is coming back from a little inpatient psych adventure, and I have a lot to do to get ready for going to school this summer. It wasnt how or when I planned to leave, but it will work out. I will have some funds to tide us over until things stabilize a bit, but I do aim to return to work somewhere else between now and medical school. While I adore and will sorely miss so many dear friends from UPMC, my departure from the organization itself was long overdue. I am grateful for all that I was able to learn there, but I had been staying for the people, all the many friends that I worked with, more than anything else. I will keep everyone up to date on my adventures, as they progress.
