Snapped this picture this Wednesday Am,,9-24-2014 when I was in Okolona on Preston. This is taken from over in Captain Ds lot,,on Oaklawn,,next to Raynor Door Co. The former Ayr-Way shopping center has become this embarrassment,,,,this is what I posted about last week,,,and how the ridiculous colors are never ending in the area from Southern High School North to about Gilmore Lane on Preston. I am posting these pictures I just took for the people that now live across the Country or the World to see what Okolona has become versus the good times we remember from back in the day. Folks,,,,this picture Right Here is the EXACT reason things like these happen when there is Zero care or oversight by Elected officials,,(and I use that term VERY loosely) to stop this kind of Re-purposing of buildings. And NO ,,,the conditioned excuse of the day is NOT well,,at least someone is in there ,,,I have heard that one all too many thousands of times from people that have no clue and dont know the difference anyways.
