Sneaky Veggies by Stephanie Burns (my 3:00 pm snack today, although I will cut down on the tropical fruit) I love this smoothie because it is so tasty and has a ton of veggies. It tastes like a berry smoothie, so it’s a real treat. The nice thing is that it doesn’t have a ton of sugar, but it’s sweet and keeps me full. Makes 6 - 8 oz. ½ cup pineapple ½ cup mango Handful of blackberries or blueberries ¼ cup shredded carrots ¼ cup shredded broccoli 1 Roma tomato 1 teaspoon spirulina powder ¼ cup water or almond milk 1 cup packed kale ½ teaspoon stevia Prep and wash all produce. Blend and serve.
