Snopes and FactCheck are in the top 5! I have often challenged those who post rediculous "news" and conspiracy theories, rumors, scandals, etc from fox, infowars, brietbart, naturalnews and a host of other right wing sites and blogs to give just one example of inaccuracy of those fact checking sites and they can never meet the challenge. Instead, they dismiss the fact checkers as being funded by liberals, therefor not in line with their agenda. Even though snopes and the rest are not liberal organizations and have no political or financial ties to either party, it is liberals who are most likely to investigate any and all stories which raise red flags. I am actually quite pleased that fact checking is associated with liberalism. It proves that liberals are more interested in the truth and making informed decisions rather than propagating an agenda of fear and distrust of all who are not wealthy and/or white.
