Snow day! Berry Streets Gippsland Wilderness youth program is helping vulnerable kids to hit the slopes as part of an innovative experiential learning program. Partnering with Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort to give disadvantaged youths an alpine experience, the adventure day is a reward for completing a gruelling 7 day wilderness challenge. Twelve young people were given free all-day tickets and access to the ski resort as part of Mt Baw Baw’s sponsorship of the program. One of the kids was a natural! Hed never been to the snow, but was a very fast learner and had the best day ever on the mountain!
