Taurus – Ray 4 (gold/yellow) – Harmony Through Conflict Taurus Light flows through the following planets before reaching the Minds of Men (thinking ones) & the kingdoms. 1. Venus (Ray 5 – orange) – personality building level 2. Vulcan (Ray 1 – red/white) – Soul level 3. Vulcan (Ray 1) – Spiritual level. Venus in Taurus represents our values, possessions, resources, finances. We consider what we value & the state of our resources. How are we using our resources? Vulcan, the Forger (Ray 1 of Will/Power) Vulcan is the husband of Venus. Vulcan takes lead (the personality) & fashions it in the fires (of life). He is a welder. Vulcan fashions each of us into a golden chalice. This occurs when the personality is lifted up to the Soul for direction. From lead to gold = this is what the ancient alchemists sought to do –changing lead into gold. Only the Ageless Mysteries were able to answer the question, a mystery shrouded in secret & silence. Buddha (Taurus Avatar & Teacher) The Buddha, Avatar who came 500 years before his brother, the Christ, in order to prepare humanity’s minds for that event, taught humanity… 1. The Four Noble Truths – foundations of Buddhism, following the Buddha’s Path…the cause of suffering & the cessation of suffering. 2. the Noble Eightfold Path, meditation and mental development then (500 BC) & for the world (in transition) today. (Right view/assessment, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right intention/concentration). The Buddha came to humanity in 500 BC because it too was a historical time of transition – from the Aries Age to the Pisces Age. The Buddha “prepared the Way” for the Piscean Age & for the Christ who was to anchor Love from Sirius & the Wisdom from the Buddha. We contemplate these things today. We recognize the work of the Avatar called the Buddha. Avatars come to Earth when humanity calls forth a great need. The minds of humanity, anchored in darkness & incorrect thinking, would not have been able to recognize the Christ as the Messiah w/out the preparatory teachings of the Buddha. Christ & the Buddha work together. They are brothers. Today, as we reflect on Taurus, we remember the Wesak Festival is always at the Taurus solar festival (at the time of the full moon of May). As the winter solstice begins, the Hierarchy, the Christ & the Buddha begin preparations for the upcoming Wesak Festival (May 8, 2015). The NGWS also stand in preparation with the Hierarchy & the Christ in preparation. Today is v/c all day – that means it’s a day of quiet reflection of the days past & of the days ahead & of the tasks needing to be accomplished today with harmony.
