Snow looks to continue for another few hours. This storm was modeled to just graze most of NEPA this morning. Unfortunately, (unless you are a snow lover) the storm misbehaved & has tracked a bit more north than anticipated, therefore bumping up our snow totals, but only by another inch or 2. Most of our area will be seeing 2-4 inches, with higher amounts as you get south of I-80 & into the Poconos & lesser amounts the more north you go. If you have plans to travel to the Lehigh Valley, Harrisburg or the Philly areas this afternoon or tonight, you may want to try & change your plans if possible. Amounts in these areas will be significantly higher - they already have 6-8 inches on the ground & could easily pick up another 3-5 more inches before the storm pulls away tonight. After we finish with this storm we get only a short reprieve before the next one comes knocking at our door Tuesday night into all day Wednesday. That storm will bring more snow than we are seeing today & could even mix in with sleet & freezing rain at times. We are currently under a WINTER STORM WATCH. I will have more information regarding that storm later on this evening.
