Here are tips for Wintertime photo-shooting: Taking pictures of snow or ice can be tricky since snow is bright white and can fool your cameras light meter. You should increase your exposure compensation by one, two, or three stops, and youll get white snow and a well-exposed subject. It will take a little practice to get just the right amount of increased exposure, but if you live where its cold and snowy, its well worth it! This tip works for hockey rinks as well.
