Snowfall beginning at 8 will not be entirely sufficient (1.5 or so by early afternoon) to trigger an immediate response. The higher ground temperature than air temperature (35 > 32), rain preceding the snowfall (making the ground warm and wet), and the fact that buses can operate (and have) in minimal ground accumulation scenarios, lead us to believe that unless it is preemptively mis-called Tuesday night, there will be a full (half) day Wednesday, the other possibility being an earlier dismissal. Concerning how the system progresses through the day, see the earlier post below- Elementary school schedules are the factor that affects this judgment the most, considering they get out the latest into the storms arrival.
