Snowfall is THE most difficult type of synoptic forecast to make - TopicsExpress

Snowfall is THE most difficult type of synoptic forecast to make and meteorologists who make specific predictions more than 24 hours ahead of the storm often end up looking silly. I try not to do things that will make me look silly. That said- North of a Cambridge Bethany Beach line a significant snow of over 3 inches is very possible. North of Easton Dover over 6. Philly northward 12+. Boston may not be found till spring. Southern Delmarva- heavy dusting to 4 This is the most uncertain area to forecast in this storm. Rain will change to snow over Delmarva tomorrow evening and taper off by Noon Tuesday. Winds on the coast Gusting to 45 from Late Monday through Tuesday PM. Gale warnings for ALL area waters.
