Snydersville Raceway Results 10-11-13 With Mother Nature threatening Snydersville on Friday Night we were able to get the entire show in Friday! 48 racers showed on Friday and created good Friday Night Racing as the track was perfect on Friday! Everyone had a great time. On Friday we had Double points Night and a Microstock Money Race with 5 cars but there was great racing. Green Flag waved for the Microstocks Animal 206 and Ted Harris took off into the early lead and Roy Morris took off into 2nd. 2 laps later Joe Stangle would lose a tire and end his night in the Microstock. Green Flag would wave once again the remaining 4 cars would go back to racing each other for $100. On lap 7 Larry Ealey would pass Roy Morris for the runner up spot. 4 laps later Ron Farber would pass Roy Morris for 3rd. The field would remain the same and Ted Harris would take home the win with Larry Ealey coming 2nd, The Mayor Ron Farber would round out the 3, Roy Morris would finish 4th and Joe Stangle would finish 5th. Kid Karts had 5 cars but still was great racing by our young little stars. Shelby McLaughlin would take off into an early lead with Benjamin Richards following in 2nd and Jayce Brown in 3rd. The kids would race with no cautions and Shelby McLaughlin taking home another win of the season, Benjamin Richards would finish in 2nd, 3rd was Jayce Brown, Katie Verwys would finish 4th, and J.T. Dembecki would finish 5th. Briggs Stock Light had some very competitive racing this past Friday. Green Flag waved and Michael Boucher took off into the lead and a caution would come out before a lap would get completed. Green would come back out and Boucher would take back out into the lead and Greg Frace would follow in 2nd and Santee in 3rd. Boucher would get a gain on Frace and Santee but a caution would come out sending Greg Frace to the rear. Green would come back out with 2 to go but another yellow would slow the field on the last lap. The one lap shoot out was apon Santee and Boucher, 2 fast drivers, that knew it was gonna be a hard last lap for the 2. Green Flag would come back out and Boucher would take off but Santee was right on his tail. As the 2 made there way through turns 3 & 4 Boucher would get a little high and Santee stuck her nose down and the two would cross the finish side by side and Taylor Santee would take home the win by only 0.028 seconds to Michael Boucher who finished 2nd. Johny Klenke would finish in 3rd for his first race at The Ville in 4 years, Boo Klenke would finish in 4th spot, Greg Frace would finish in 5th and Tyler Evans would round out in 6th. It was a good hard race among all the drivers. Jr. Sportsman and Rookie Jr. Sportsman would be put together on Friday which made it interesting for the race. Sean Verwys would have a little company from the Rookie Jr. Sportsman driver John Kendal as he would be right with Verwys. Sean Verwys would take home the win with Zachary Evans finishing 2nd. John Kendall would take home the win for Rookie Jr. Sportsman. 7 cars would start the Feature the Mighty Slingshots to the preamble of the Thunder at The Ville Slingshot Race on Nov. 2. Green Flag would be waved by Bob Stahl and Dillon Emmons would take off into the early lead and Mike McLaughlin would quickly move up into 2nd and Kyle Herve moving into third sending John Drake back to 4th. Zellman would then move into 4th spot on lap 2. The field would remain the same as the race would go unstopped and Dillon Emmons would bring home the win for the Slingshots, Mike McLaughlin would finish in 2nd, 3rd was Kyle Herve, 4th was Greg Zellman, 5th- Tess Horvath, 6th- Tyler Peet, and 7th- John Drake. The Briggs Medium class would only have 3 cars but provided good clean racing. Michael Boucher would take off into the lead with Boo Klenke following in 2nd and Johny Klenke in 3rd. 2 Laps later Boo Klenke would take position number 1 and Johny Klenke would move into the runner up spot. Another 2 laps later Johny Klenke would move into 1st and Boo Klenke would drop to 2nd. The class would also go uninterrupted and Johny Klenke would bring home a feature win after 4 years, Boo Klenke would finish 2nd, Michael Boucher finish 3rd and DNS- Eric Freeman. The Controlled Stock Champ class had good racing with 4 cars. Bob Wilson would take off into the lead with Lew Everett in 2nd, Duke Lasowski 3rd, and Buddy Lord 4th. The field would have no cautions and Bob Wilson would bring home the win with Lew Everett coming in 2nd, Duke Lasowski would finish 3rd and Buddy Lord finishing 4th. 9 cars would start the race for the Clone class. Eddie Geiger and Jason Fisch would start on the front row as the green waved but a caution would come out before completing a lap. Another caution would then follow delaying the first lap. Green flag would resume and Chad Balliet would take off into the lead with Billy LaRue in 2nd but another caution would slow the field on Lap 1. The green would come back out and Billy LaRue would take off into the lead with Chad Balliet following in 2nd. A good battle for third during the race was between Eric Freeman and John LaRue. The class would remain green the rest of the way and Billy LaRue would clinch another win, Chad Balliet would finish 2nd, 3rd aws Eric Freeman, John LaRue would finish in 4th, rounding the the top 5 was Stacy Santee, 6th was Eddie Geiger, 7th- Ron Farber, 8th- Johny Peters, 9th- Jason Fisch. Dale Kuhne would bring his Open Modified Kart out to get seat and take the win for the class on Double Points Night. Honda 120 & Honda 160 1/4 Midgets only totaled 3 but provided good hard racing. Kayla Campbell would take home the win by 0.204 seconds and Matt Balliet would take 2nd for Honda 160. Macy Litchaurer would take the win for Honda 120. It was a great night of racing as the track was smooth and tacky which created true dirt track conditions. We thank everyone for coming out on Friday and hoped you enjoyed the racing!
