Snydersville Results 8-30-13 Lew Everett takes home a win and $150 in the Controlled Stock Champ Money Race last Friday Night! 5 cars participated in the money race on Friday. As the green waved Lew Everett took off into an early with Bob Wilson trailing behind him as they prepared to go 20 laps around “The Ville”. Lew Everett started to pull away to gain a 3 second lead over 2nd place of Bob Wilson. No cautions troubled the class which led Lew to victory for the Controlled Stock Champ Money Race. Bob Wilson would finish second, third was Buddy Lord. Fourth was Ronald Counterman as he made his return to Snydersville and finishing fifth for his first time at “The Ville” was James Counterman Jr. Kid Karts had 4 cars for their feature. Shelby took the heat win which gave her more ambition to go for the feature win. Green Flag waved for the feature and Shelby McLaughlin took the lead with Jayce Brown following right behind her in 2nd. A caution would then trouble the class on Lap 2 when Wyatt Hager wreck due to the Carburetor falling off. Green flag resumed and Shelby jumped back out into the lead with Jayce Brown on her tail. No more cautions would hit the class and Shelby McLaughlin would lead all the way to the checkered to take her 2nd win of 2013. Coming 2nd was Jayce Brown with Katie Verwys coming in 3rd and Wyatt Hager finishing 4th. Rookie Jr. Sportsman was the next feature. Tyler Longacre moved into defense mode as John Kendall was on his tail in 2nd. Andrew Pratt would only complete 1 lap to then pull off. Tyler Longacre would hold off John Kendall for the win with Kendall finishing 2nd and 3rd was Andrew Pratt. Next was a combined class of Beginner ¼ Midgets and Honda 120 ¼ Midgets. Charissa Dengler would take the win for Beginner and Jaden Darragh would take the win for Honda 120. Briggs Stock Light & Briggs Jr. would run there feature next with 7 cars total. Alex Arndt would start on the pole in Michael Boucher’s 18x car and Taylor Santee would start outside pole. Green flag waved and Alex Arndt and Michael Boucher would take off taking 1 and 2. After 1 lap a caution would come out on Scott Arndt who was running 3rd at the time. Green Flag was once waved and Alex Arndt took off into the lead once again. The top 3 would be Arndt, Boucher and Frace but coming up through the back is Taylor Santee who fell back to 5th. The top 3 would then change on lap 11 to Alex Arndt, Boucher, and Santee. Alex Arndt would lead the whole way to take the light win with Boucher finishing in 2nd and Taylor Santee rounding out the Top 3. 4th was Greg Frace, 5th- Scott Arndt, 6th- Cory Cormier. Taking the win for Briggs Jr. was Shawn Truhe. Next class would be Jr. Sportsman. 3 cars would start the race and those were Gavin Santee, Hunter Metzger and Shawn Verwys who are all fast drivers. A caution would trouble the class from getting a lap in which involved Hunter Metzger spinning out. 2 laps would get in until the next caution. As the green resumed Gavin Santee would go into defense mode as both Metzger and Verwys would be nose to tail the entire race. Sean Verwys would move into 2nd over Metzger on lap 3. The field would go the rest of the race with Santee taking home another win, 2nd was Sean Verwy and 3rd was Hunter Metzger. The Regular Controlled Stock Champ Class would make their way on to the speedway. Bob Wilson and Lew Everett started on the front row. As the green flag waved Bob Wilson took off into the lead with Buddy Lord Moving into 2nd sending Lew Everett into third spot. Buddy Lord would then loose the runner up spot on lap 5 to Lew Everett. With No cautions Bob Wilson would lead wire to wire and take the win for the Cont. Stock Champ class. 2nd was Lew Everett and Third was Buddy Lord. Finishing fourth was Ronald Counterman and finishing fifth was James Counterman Jr. Next Class out was the Sr. Clones with 10 cars in the class. Billy LaRue and Ron Farber would take heat wins and they would start on the front row on the Feature. Green flag dropped and Billy LaRue took off into the lead but a caution in turn 1 involving Ron Farber would slow the field down before getting a lap in. Green Flag would resume with Billy LaRue leading and Bobby Smith now running in the runner up spot and Crazy Eddie Geiger completing the top 3. Another Caution on lap 5 would bring the field back to a craw and sending Ed Spargo to tail of the field. The race then resumed Billy LaRue would still be holding on to the #1 spot. Billy LaRue would lead the rest of the way to take his 9th Clone Win of the 2013 Season, coming in 2nd to LaRue was Bobby Smith, and finishing 3rd was Crazy Eddie Geiger. Finishing in 4th was John LaRue, 5th- Scott Goldt, 6th- Matt Kocher, 7th- Emily Oswald, 8th- Greg Frace, 9th- Ed Spargo, 10th- Ron Farber. Next class with a record car count was our Jr. Champ 1’s. Aidan Boucher would start on pole and Jake Mason would start in 2nd and Arlen Deviantoy would start 3rd. Green Flag waved and Arlen Deviantoy would take over first spot in the Jr. Champ 1 Feature. Aidan Boucher would follow in 2nd and Jake Mason in 3rd. A yellow would slow the field on lap 3. The race then resumed and Arlen Deviantoy would take back into the lead and lead the rest of the way to take the win, Jake Mason would come in 2nd spot and 3rd was Aidan Boucher. The AllStar Slingshots would take to the speedway with 5 cars this week. Kyle Herve and Billy Osmun would be the front row as they took the green. Kyle Herve took off into the lead and Greg Zellman taking second from Billy Osmun on lap 1. Kyle Herve would lead wire to wire to take the win with Greg Zellman finishing very close in 2nd, 3rd was Billy Osmun, finishing 4th was John Drake and rounding out the top 5 was Tess Horvath. Next Class was our Little Big Jr. Sportsman. Cory Longacre would take another win with Jacob Goldt finishing in 2nd who is improving every week as well as Tyler Longacre. Next up was Briggs Stock Medium with 5 cars. Flip Voorhees and Michael Boucher would start on the front row as green flag waved. Flip Voorhees would take off into the lead with Chris Melchor moving into 2nd spot on lap 1. A yellow would then trouble the class on lap 1 sending new comer Patrick Kelly to the tale of the field. Green flag would then come back out and Voorhees would go back into defense mode with Melchor trailing him. No more Cautions would hit the class and Flip Voorhees would take home his 8th win of the year. Chris Melchor would finish in 2nd with Michael Boucher finishing 3rd. Patrick Kelly would finish 4th and Rick Shive would round out the top 5. The Mighty Microstock 206’s would take to the 1/8 mile dirt oval with 3 cars. Ted Harris would take off into the lead with Jim Ackerman following right behind him and “The Mayor” Ron Farber in 3rd. Then Ron Farber would take into 2nd spot for 2 lap and then fall back to third. Ted Harris would lead wire to wire and take the win with Jim Ackerman coming in 2nd spot and third was “The Mayor” Ron Farber. It was another great week of racing at “The Ville” with 63 cars. We got another great week of racing ahead this Friday with a Regular Show plus a Briggs Super Heavy Money Race. We Thank everyone for coming out to Snydersville and we will see this Friday!!!
