Snydersville Results July 11 70 Entries of Karts would pack the pit area Friday ready to go racing on the 1/8 mile oval. This past Friday we had a Jr. Champ 1 Money Race that brought 9 young drivers ready to race for $150. It was some great racing Friday and we want to thank everyone for coming out Friday! Here are the results from last Friday. 9 Jr. Champ 1 karts would start for the 20 lap money race. Alex Kolonics would take the win for Jr. Champ 1 Money Race, 2nd was Shelby McLaughlin, 3rd was Meredith Howell, Aidan Boucher would finish 4th and Jasper Zeigafuse would round out the top 5, 6th- Tanner Jones, 7th- Andrew Pratt, 8th- Kevin Wieand Jr., DQ- Jeffery Shire. Katie Verwys would take her 10th win of the year and Brandon Walsh would finish in 2nd. The Regular Jr. Champ 1 class would have 8 cars and have a great race. Alex Kolonics would take the win once again making 2 for 2, Aidan Boucher would finish in 2nd, Jasper Zeigafuse would earn his first top 3 at Snydersville, Point leader Shelby McLaughlin would finish 4th, and Andrew Pratt would round out the top 5, 6th- Meredith Howell, 7th- Kevin Wieand Jr., DQ- Jeffery Shire. An intense Briggs Stock Light race would allow a driver to earn their first victory of 2014. Alyssa Longacre would take the early lead but would be freight trained to the rear. It would then create a battle between Metzger and Scott Neary. A yellow would come out and send both Metzger and Scott Neary to the rear. This would now put Longacre back on the point. Alyssa Longacre would lead the rest of the race to take her first victory of 2014, Sam Neary would finish in 2nd, Zak Gorski would round out in 3rd and Scott Neary would finish 4th, DQ- Hunter Metzger and Greg Frace. The Jr. Sportsman would put on a great race. Gavin Santee would take the win for Jr. Sportsman class, Jesse Strohl would finish 2nd, 3rd was Sean Verwys, Dylan Labar would finish 4th and Jayce Brown would round out the top 5, 6th- Tyler Longacre. John Wolfe would take the win for Briggs Stock Heavy with Kevin Wieand Sr. finishing in 2nd and Jason Wolfe rounding out the Top 3. Mikey Smith would take the win for Rookie Jr. Sportsman with Jacob Goldt finishing 2nd. 5 AllStar Slingshots would create a great race of passing and battling. Greg Zellman would take the win, Steve Svanda would finish 2nd, 3rd was Kenneth Reeder for his first time at Snydersville, Kyle Herve would finish 4th, and Ed Reeder would finish in 5th. 4 Microstock Animal 206 would take to the track. Ted Harris would get a jump on Jim Ackerman on the start and take the win for class, Jim Ackerman would finish in 2nd, “The Mayor” Ron Farber would finish in 3rd and Matt Ackerman would finish 4th. Troy Snyder would take the win for Controlled Stock Champ, John LaRue would finish 2nd and Paul Valent would finish in 3rd. 13 Sr. Clone’s would take to the 1/8 mile oval for wheel to wheel action. 2 cautions would slow the field before getting a lap in. Once they got going Jason Fisch would take over the lead and his brother Wayne would be in 2nd and putting the pressure on his brother. As they came to the checkered a major position swap would give Wayne Fisch the win for the Clones, Billy LaRue would finish in a close 2nd, 3rd was Alex Arndt, 4th was Jason Fisch, and rounding out the top 5 was John LaRue, 6th- Greg Frace, 7th- Eddie Geiger, 8th- Steven Longacre, 9th- Emily Oswald, 10th- Jonny Peters, 11th- John Novak, 12th- Scott Goldt, 13th- Marty Boucher. The top 5 would finish within 0.769 seconds of each other. It was a great race and a lot of battling that would occur. The Open Modified Kart Class had 3 competitive drivers go at. Joe Demott would take the win once again, Greg Frace would finish 2nd and Gary Anthony would round out in 3rd. 3 Jr. Slingshots would put on a great show for the fans. Aidan Svanda would take the win once again, Cody Motto would finish 2nd and David Burns would finish in 3rd. Kallie Manieri would take her first win at Snydersville and Michael Reeder would finish in 2nd. It was a great night of racing and everyone had a blast. We would like to thank everyone for coming out and we will see you Friday!
