So - thinking about rotational grazing - I feel that I need a shelter for goats so I do not have to try to bring them in every time it rains, etc. I havent used google sketchup in a while, but here is what I am toying around with. Rough dimensions are 4 by 10 with a 12 roof. On skids so the tractor can move it from pen to pen. The platform acts as structural support as well as a place for goats to lay if the ground gets too soggy in a heavy rain. Meant to be big enough to provide shade, a place for them to gather for supplemental feeding, and for watering. If I knew how to draw it in I would show the gutter going to a bucket on the sidewall.
