So--this evening, I was going to send a brief message to the legal team who litigated the landmark federal case of Jimmo vs. Sebelius. In my message, I was going to attach a link to the 2015 Changes to my moms Medicare Advantage Policy with a cite to the pages where I think they are failing to accurately quote the portion which was impacted by the Jimmo case. And Ill be dammed... The insurance company sent the changes in a half-inch book to their members--where the most important parts are buried in a ton of mumbo jumbp and legalese. But--unless I am wrong on this--they are not sharing that same information over the internet. Im going to have my ace legal researcher Bob G Jackson see if he can find the link anywhere. If Bob cant find it--its because it doesnt exist. Of course--Im sure that if the insurance company did not upload this critical set of updates onto the internet...it was a mere...mistake. (And--if you believe that--in the words of George Strait--Ive got some Ocean Front Property on Arizona...)
