So -today we saw a dance performance with a narrative of meeting between long lost friends. It was good. At this one point one of them stands on a ledge looking to jump (this is all good spirited. Not as depressing as it sounds). His friends array to catch him. He moves. They array again. This repeats a few times. When he finally jumps, they catch him standing on their palms (try to imagine, this is a very difficult feat). He then continues to walk a few steps normally while they always rearrange to catch his next step. From his point of view hes perfectly safe, walking as he would. Even on the ledge. Im a great cynic, but if theres one thing I am grateful for, a gratefullness I often heartfully express, its the amazing people I have in my life.
