So 1 time I asked my Physics teacher a question after having a hard time believing there are different time zones in the world. Me: How many hours are there in a day sir? Teacher: 😕 Tsumake, how can u ask such a silly question, 24 obviously!!! Me: Sir, you say Australia is 9hrs ahead of us, which means that if I depart from Australia at 1400hrs on 22 Dec 2014 & take a direct flight that takes 9 hrs (assumed) to reach Joburg, it means Id arrive in Joburg at 1400hrs 22 Dec 2014 right. Again you say Los Angeles is 9 Hours behind, does this mean if I immediately take a direct flight from here that departs from Joburg at 1400hrs 22 December 2014 to LA, & takes 7 hours to reach LA, Im going to arrive in LA at 1400Hrs 22 Dec 2014. How much is 24+9+9 sir? He kept quiet 4 a minute, I then told him it means I would have spent 42 Hours on that day alone... Instead of answering me, he took me to the storeroom & walloped my ass & there after started a different topic... A bo ke thanya...
