So 13 years ago I was super super young and clueless, I got an email from this boy who saw my picture in a chat room for single catholic young people. He was dorky but his picture was kinda cute so I agreed to meet him at a Barnes and Nobles for coffee. He was all goofy and shy and kinda charming. Poor guy - I was also really dumb back them and kinda blew him off.... My best friend Anna forced me to call him back. Hes so cute what are you crazy?? He is a pianist and loves opera!!! Where the heck are you going to find anyone else to match your weird personality?? So I called him back a week later. Fortunately I had a stomach bug so I had a good excuse for why it took me so long to call him back. He took me to dinner a few nights later. I had read in Cosmopolitan Magazine that if you want to see if a boy is good enough for you, you can test him with little things to see how he will react. One tip was to be really late to a dinner date. So I was late - 30 minutes late to be exact. The poor man waited outside in a snow storm until I arrived. Then when I got there he said you must be freezing. Here take my coat. I died in a good way. All night we laughed and told crazy funny jokes. We became best friends. We saw each other every day. And we grew musically together and we grew spiritually together. Meeting Scott Crowne 13 years ago was the absolute best thing that ever happened to me. And today as we celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, I am just bursting with joy :-) love you, Scott Crowne
