So 2/3 of cancers are bad luck and will just come at you out of the blue? This is such as unhelpful dis-empowering perspective imo. Another way to for the scientists to report this might be for them to say to be honest we dont really have much of a clue (we are guessing on the 33% and have given up on the 66%), and we arent making much headway, so maybe we are looking at the whole thing from the wrong perspective. We will get back to you if we work out anything useful Also best imo to remember the adage follow the money, and ask who funded this research and what conclusions would best serve them. We need to think for ourselves if not someone else will do it for us
