So 2 interesting things happened this week. I had customer service issues with Uber Cabs and with SPI Cinemas, and in both cases, I sent an email to their customer service id, as given in their respective websites. And in both cases, they responded in less than 24 hours, and that too, with solutions that satisfied me!! The mail I received from Uber was considerate, articulate, and offered solutions to the problem I mentioned. Nuff said!! And with SPI Cinemas, I received a phone call, and the person who spoke with me recited my specific issues to show comprehension, and then even offered to give me and my family tickets to a show of our choice! Definitely exceeded my expectations!! In India, we may be taking time to catch up to customer service standards that other countries have already set, but the advantage we have is that because so few organizations actually offer quality customer service, its that much easier to stand apart and ahead of the crowd!! Cheers to Uber and SPI Cinemas for retaining me as a customer!
