So 28 years ago I get out of the bed, prepare the ex-husbands lunch for his work and follow him to the front door. Tina in my arms, Chris crawling out the bed and Robbie in my uterus. So Chris comes out rubs his eyes and says mommy today the doctors taking the baby out of your belly I said No Chris, the baby isnt coming for 2 more weeks besides Doctor Tolentino is on vacation and there is no one there to help mommy Well never underestimate the psychic abilities of my first born as after Ronnie got in the door from work, my pains started at 5pm and low and behold Robert Kinney was born 5 hours later. 2 weeks early weighing in at 5 14 oz. 17 inches long (he was my birthday present to myself lol). The cutest and scrawniest baby I ever did see. He latched right on to feed and was promptly wisked away as he was severely jaundice and they feared he was quite little all because of the stress I was under and lack of proper nutrition. Despite my being close to 2 miscarriages for him, one, I had placenta abruption at 4 months and the doctor said he would have to abort my baby. I spent 4 days in the hospital all alone and praying to God to not take my baby from me. And two I fell down stairs, well was pushed actually, and was told that once again I had placenta abruption at almost 7 months. Some scary stuff. Regardless of all that my son has proven to overcome all obstacles that has crossed his path. He has suffered from ailments since the beginning of life, from being underweight and jaundice, to having Osch-good Schlatters disease, to having a benign brain tumor and suffering the illness of his addictions past, my son has persevered above and beyond most and has proven to be the most compassionate, patient, loving son and an awesome daddy to his 3 wonderful children and an awesome partner to his beautiful girl Deborah Lynn Snyder. I love you son and am so very proud of you!!!!!! HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS EVER!!!!!
